Dessert fans - make this Russian Imperial Stout Cheesecake
BC Brews has a link to an interesting-looking Russian Imperial Stout Cheesecake recipe on their blog. They give a list of suitable beers:
rent a car bulgariaBrooklyn Black Chocolate Stout, Flying Dog Gonzo Imperial Porter, Moylan’s Ryan O’Sullivan’s Imperial Stout, North Coast Old Rasputin, and Phillips The Hammer
But there are plenty of others out there that would do the trick. If you make this cheesecake, send us a photo and we’ll post it!

I would love to have sent you a picture, but everyone ate the damned thing before we could get a shot!! Seriously, this cake was divine. I made 12 mini cakes in a muffin tin (baked @ 35 minutes) and then a whole cake with the rest of the batter. Rich, chocolatey, worth living for! We paired it with a chilled framboise lambic. Perfect!
Got a picture now up on the cheesecake post: http://bcbrews.wordpress.com/2008/10/27/russian-imperial-stout-cheesecake/. Feel free to use it.
Rick.
